2017: The 64th Annual First Parish Plant & Craft Fair
We'll be celebrating the bicentennial of First Parish's historic meetinghouse on Bedford Common with new features and an exciting, expanded planning team.
As the fair looks ahead to the future, here's a step back to learn about its history.
Begun in 1953 with a small plant sale in a parishioner's yard, the fair has grown over time to include family fun, lunch, a bake sale and also a well-regarded craft fair.
The plants on offer include hearty annuals grown locally as well as a grocery garden, heritage perennials from First Parish members' gardens, and specialty offerings.
This year's family fun will include live music, the Chip-In Farm/Bedford 4H Club petting zoo, and face painting!
