We’ll have a terrific selection of specialty annuals from a grower in Kittery. Some will be in pots for you to add to your planters or your garden plot, others will be incorporated into the containers we’re getting ready for you!
Cleome – Sparkler Rose – Clouds of airy, spider-like flowers on top of tall rigid stems. Drought tolerant and sun-loving, these plants need lots of room. Plant these garden favorites and watch for hummingbirds and butterflies.
Fuchsia – Tom Thumb – With an endless variety of flowers and forms, and its tolerance for shade, this is a plant for everyone.
Gaura – White – This gorgeous tender perennial has arching stems covered with numerous dancing flowers that give the garden or container a light, airy feel.
Helichrysium petiolare – Versatile and popular accent plant for container and window boxes. Will take more water and feed than you might think.
Heliotropium – Marine - Sturdy green plants from which arise umbrellas of intoxicating vanilla scented flowers. These versatile plants are a staple in any border.
Ipomoea – Bewitched Purple – These come to us from the sweet potato fields. Selected for their foliage color and vigorous trailing habit.
Oxalis – Copper Glow – Compact, busy plant boasts cute, diminutive, clover- shaped leaves of golden yellow blushed with copper.
Pelargonium – Pink Blizzard – (Ivy Geranium) Single , deep pink blooms adorn compact, trailing foliage. A terrific selection for hanging baskets and window boxes. ht: 12-18”
Scaevola – Blue – Dark green foliage with prolific blooms that cluster around arching stems. Good window box and container plant.

Sterling Star – Silvery blue flowers on fine foliage.
Imagination – Fine foliage, small round clusters of dark purple flowers.
Zinnia – Envy – Dahlia-like flowers in dazzling light green on tall stocky plants. Great cut flower!
Zinnia profusion – Cherry – Free flowering and self cleaning variety. Semi-upright habit with 2″ cherry red blooms. Great edging plant, either for the border or container.
